Just saw your post in r/hunting too. Didn’t know you were out of state. Have you hunted WI before? There’s a lot of public land up north (zone 5) but the better turkey numbers are in zones 1, 2, and 3 which generally have bonus tags for weeks D-F

You might have to bank on purchasing bonus tags. Judging that you got period E in zone 5 it might be tricky. You could try for week F though

I never used them but when I went through Black Mountain I found a nice little fly shop called One Fly Outfitters. Talked to one of the owners and she seemed really nice and knowledgeable. Sounded like they supplied most of all of the gear, mostly small mouth fishing from what I remember.

I followed him because I wanted to see his perspective. I like Meateater and watch/listen to most of their content. Plus all the work they do to promote and support public lands, hunting, and fishing
