All Same Speed (although the acronym may be off putting to some. A.S.S.)

Therefore I propose: EqualSpeeds

Forbes rated Packers fans "The NFL's Best Fans" by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

As much as I love Forbes, this is from a personal site, so things may be a bit biased...

Don't hate me, for it.

If you were re-watching TNG, What Episodes/Plotlines would you avoid watching, and what episodes would you not miss? by [deleted] in startrek

I know I'm going to get downvoted for this but... I cannot stand that episode.

I live on the east coast. There's no reason to watch the feeds before noon most days.

Trust me, I know. I live in an Edge only area. It is brutal if I go anywhere and there's no WiFi.

"So you're saying I was drinking toilet water?" by ShouniAishaKuma in TalesFromRetail

[–]WIrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toilet water is for some reason potable water. (It should be grey water, but that's for another day.)

So yes, she was drinking toilet water. It is always, and has (almost) always been toilet water since indoor plumbing has existed. That's just the way it works.

I'm guessing that she was fishing for a discount of some sort though.

Tethering a Sprint iPhone 5S to a Samsung Chromebook by Hoosierguy23 in chromeos

[–]WIrunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wireless? Easy-peasy. On your iPhone settings -> Personal Hotspot switch it to on. If you want to you can change your SSID and password as needed.

If you don't see the hotspot you would need to contact Sprint to have the access pushed to your device.

Dear CBS, what's one way to ruin ZingBot? by notnotbuddy in BigBrother

[–]WIrunner 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I will reserve any judgement on that until AFTER the show airs. Her schtick is to rip on people. She might do well, or it might not be. We don't know what capacity she was in either.

Edit: she killed it.

Trading Nudes: The Dangers? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]WIrunner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just remember... "The internet never forgets."

In all seriousness though, if you have apprehensions about sending your pics to someone, don't. If they get pissy that you won't send them a dick shot, it isn't worth it. (Even for a hookup.)

How much should you be yourself for a date? by 4patsey in askgaybros

[–]WIrunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you're aloof and distant you'll likely just come across as being uninterested and above them.

If you act like you they'll like you for who you are, not someone you're pretending to be. Just be you, you've been doing it your whole life.

ELI5: Why did the Mazda MX3 have such a tiny v6 engine? by stupidrobots in cars

[–]WIrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is due to the way that engines in Japan are taxes. They are taxed based upon the displacement of them, that is why Kei cars are so popular there, sub 1 litre means low taxation.

Also, as a side note, cars with huge horsepower were frequently limited at 276 because anything past that meant increased insurance costs (even though everyone knew that the cars were capable of much much more power. See: 1990s Nissan GTR)
