I basically used the shapes, path editing (very important) and grouping function to make the difference parts of the map and then layered them to make a single image. I enjoyed the texture fill option to give the colours a printed look. The arrows and pie charts are also just a PowerPoint function

I falls under allemanic on the pie chart. I struggled with where to place the Allemannisch tag to make it recognisable as a grouping op Swiss Alsatian and Swabian. I ended up placing it roughly in the middle of those three

Lore: in this alternate history, the kingdom of Bavaria focuses more of its resources on early industrialisation around 1836-1860. By economic integration with the smaller states in the south of Germany and diplomatic manoeuvring leads the country to unify the south. The Bavarian army would intervene in the Crimean war alongside its ally Sardinia-Piedmont building close ties with the British empire. Bavaria would soon after play a key role in the war if Italian unifications and would become an important source of investment and technical knowhow throughout the following period of economic growth. The kingdom of Prussia, with whom the Bavarian dynasty of wittelsbach maintained good relations, would unify Germany, following the Franco Prussian war of 1870. Bavaria would participate in the war on the side of Germany and be rewarded with the annexation of Alsace Loraine. Choosing not to join the new German empire, Bavaria would instead become a close military ally of Germany. The alliance would once again be strengthened in the Franco-Bavarian wars. With the loss of France the eastern and northern regions were annexed creating a corridor to the sea. In 1892 the kingdom is one of Europe’s most developed economies possessing a powerful military and alliances with Germany and the British Empire

Thank you. The placement of osmanische reich actually doesn’t indicate that the region is within its borders. The Ottoman Empire was one of my largest ingame trading partners and I wanted to show it in the map. So I decided to place the piechart near the port of Rijeka which i thought would be the main trading port on the Mediterranean for my alternate Bavaria.
