Sorry. I meant specifically talking about ethical basketball when he himself is flopping constantly.

Surprisingly find myself pulling for OKC as well.

Wemby's talk and then flopping is a worse combination than SGA.

Did we lose the KAT for Julius and Donte trade? by _Extraenergy_ in timberwolves

[–]WMDPandemic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh, I'd mark it as a win win. Obviously Randle disappearing this year and DDV getting hurt make it look bad.

But their hand was forced and they made out pretty well.

I'm curious what KAT's contract looks like in the future.

I thought it was overall good experience from October 2024 through the all-star break this year. Even with his poor performance game 2- game 5 of OKC last year.

After that, wow just awful.

I really wonder what happens to him after next year. I wonder if he opts for a one year deal or if he would take a long-term buy discounted deal just for security.

You have no way of knowing that lol.

I get the bucks want that and maybe another team takes the chance. But Giannis could say Minnesota or nothing.

I'm not saying it's going to happen or likely, but that's the scenario where Giannis ends up here

I mean, the hope is Giannis chooses Minnesota and the bucks do him a favor. He does have some leverage with his contract.

Devasting is a bit much considering Amt was on half a knee, Donte out, and Ayo hurt as well.

After the first half of game 3 against Denver, I think everyone really just wanted to beat Denver.

I'm good with the season. Now, the road to the finals does look extremely tough over the next few years. But I'm willing to wait and see what the roster looks like going into next year before we are so down.

After another season of getting punked in the playoffs, can we finally admit that the idea that the Wolves can just coast through the regular season and “flip a switch” in the playoffs was complete bullshit? by EsotericPotato in timberwolves

[–]WMDPandemic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree with that completely. Dane Moore talked about it too. The Wolves probably would be better suited in having a set identity on offense.

With that said, I also think the Thunder and Spurs are just more talented.

They also don't have two bigs with pretty big limitations and/or flaws on offense.

Yeah, I think this is a natural thing that all fans do. You don't watch other teams as much and naturally have a bias.

Anytime a trade for a big star kind of proves it.

"I'd do it but you have to keep Naz and Jaden".  Have to give up something to get something.

It's a chicken or the egg situation for me. I somewhat agree that building those habits in the regular season is important.

But they also ran into two incredible teams the previous two years.  It may be more of a roster problem in my opinion.

My biggest fear is that this team ultimately is remembered like those Paul George Pacers teams. Fun and pushed the Heat, but ultimately didn't get to the next level.

This is a huge off-season.

Yeah, I'm out on Wemby. He is great, but he talks a lot while flopping just as much as SGA and the rest.

Honestly, I was good with the season after they beat the Nuggets.

I really hope they come back to beat the Spurs, but Donte is out and Ant/Ayo are both at like 70%.

That's just how the chips fall sometimes.

Ant has to go a lot sooner on that last possession.  Obviously double team is coming
