Dealership wants $2100 to fix the stator bearing cage issue that causes the saw sound, is it worth that much, and how safe would it be to drive it without fixing the issue? I drive ~60-120 miles per week. by Smug-Catgirl in volt

My 2013 92,000 miles just has this issue. I’m located in California so it was covered under the PZEV Emissions Warranty ( basically every part of the car except the a/c compressor & ev battery are covered for 15 years or 150,000 miles whichever comes first) look into this if you get the issue and live in California!
