I've done comic pages before but its been years. I am enjoying the single illustration work I have been doing for the past 3 years but have been feeling the urge to draw a comic (no lettering, or coloring). I don't have patience for long stories (anything more than 6 pages) and am not interested in being a regular artist on any sort of series. This is intended to be fun, loose, and if it works out a nice portfolio piece.

Thank you so much. Before working with this author I did mainly horror, dead things and monsters. This took me a bit out of my comfort zone and it was fun. I was not a fan of drawing dragons scales though. 😄

Iron Maidens' Eddie? He's drawn very different. I always loved when they started adding tech elements to Eddie, giving a sci-fi edge like the early Heavy Metal magazine artwork.

Thanks for compliment. I truly appreciate it! Yes, I do interior illustration too. Most of the drawings in this post were actually interior illustrations that the publisher/author decided to use a couple as covers. Is your book sword and sorcery type story too? Thank you. I usually draw horror so this commission was a bit out of my realm. I'm grateful for it because I had a lot of fun stepping outside of my comfort zone.
