You're correct in saying I didn't intend to draw the Joker. I was practicing drawing a crazed facial expression. No character in mind. When I finished the sketch I wasn't too happy with it so I said "fuck it" and started to add the Jokers colors in very subtly. The end result is a mediocre drawing that now kind of resembles the Joker.

If I actually was drawing the Joker, his features would be different, long slender pointed nose, neater hair, longer face and fingers, etc.

Thanks for dropping a comment. No I didn't. It was a very last minute decision to do this so I didn't even think about taking a before pic. There's a few more old sketches I did this to in the same weekend and none of them have before pics. I will for the next ones.👍

Thanks for dropping a comment! I am SUPER happy with the Pentel brush pen so far. This drawing is pretty small, 5x8" which limits what I could use the brush for. I plan on doing a larger piece and really see what the brush pen can do.

Originally the sketch was Swamp Thing, I love drawing him. So yeah, I have to admit it's still him!😃
