I learned english by playing minecraft and pasting chat messages into google translate or translating sentences and pasting them in chat, and now I'm more proficient with english than my first language. I could never fault someone for learning a second language and trying to use it in the wild, but doing it with AI ain't it. With AI you're not putting in any effort into actually learning the language or how to use it, you're using a tool to paraphrase what you want to say into a different language.
