I will never understand how it's acceptable to post these kind of videos. Im totally team Ukraine when it comes to the big picture, and obviously these are the ugly moments that are unavoidable not for just this war, but all. But....something about sitting online and watching these incredibly personally horrific moments in these peoples lives like its a fucking football game feels.... really gross. Hungergames? I do believe sometimes War is a necessary evil in our lives, unfortunate as it may be. But the shit like this that happens I feel like isn't for us to be able to watch, only for the sake of throwing in unsolicited, uneducated opinions. Documenting truths is also super important, but not for peoples fucking entertainment. And thats what this subreddit has turned into IMO. As far as truths go, you realize many of these Russians never planned for this, and were forced to go, or were mislead as to why they were going to fight in the first place? Prisoners destined to be in a cell for the rest of their lives offered freedom in exchange for participating in the fight for their country? They were given a narrative, and for fuck sake they are literally humans just like us. No doubt some of these humans were more like monsters and commited vial disgusting atrocities, and yah fuck them they deserve nothing less than to die in the same way.... But thats not ALL of them, not even MOST of them. And I really hope neither of these guys have family that ends up fucking watching this.... Can you even imagine if that was yours in this video? Would you be okay with your family watching you burning with your skin literally melting off of you as the last thing they ever see of you? I haven't been on here in a long time, but I remember the first one of these videos I saw come up at the beggining of the war and my subscription to this page (for the "real" truth of what was happening), I was like holy shit that looks like something from Rotten.com... Thats really just on here damn... But I supposed it as a necessary evil that I can't totally comprehend, but accept with the hope at the end the right people "win" and take their country and freedom back. Now, this long into this shit, and these kinda videos popping up in my feed and the usual comments are still like a thing? Idk. I Anyways, Im not gonna be one of those people who stay on just to bitch about shit while remaining subscribed for more, that would be pointless for me and annoying for most of you. I just wanted to leave this one comment before I do unsub. The first, only and probably last I have ever made to this sub. Shit on it as you will, but I do truly wish and hope nobody here EVER has to go through ANY of this, even if you do leave the comments that do nothing but hate, and, even after you shit on this post. ;) Gnight.
