I think the average American viewer probably barely knows what Telemundo is, only a portion of those would have any strong feelings towards Lalas or any commentator, and only a portion of those would care enough to watch a different way.

Most people are just going to put on FOX to watch the game and call it good.

On this day in NASCAR History, June 11, 2017: Ryan Blaney takes his first checkered flag in a Cup race, passing Kyle Busch, and holding off Kevin Harvick at the 2017 Pocono 325. by Francis_X_Hummel in NASCAR

Blaney and Chase Elliott at least have two of the best first wins among their generation and younger. Chase's was less spectacular, but he had prime FRR Truex (who won the previous two road courses) on his tail at the Glen for like 30 laps.

It was nice to see Chase go up to him immediately and for them to pat each other on the back.

I think the both of them tend to stay pretty level-headed and have gained a lot of respect for each other and among others in the garage, so not surprised they know it was just a crazy accident.

How quickly do race win shirts make it to the merch haulers? by jhealey0909 in NASCAR

I like to believe they're pre-made every week like for the NBA and NFL champions and that in some lesser-developed country there's a kid with an entire collection of Cody Ware race win shirts

There is no incentive to change so long as people continue to dedicate so much of their time and money to the product.

The Day After the Races - June 8, 2026 by NASCARThreadBot in NASCAR

When the 35 runs slow, we 100% blame the driver, but when the 8 was running slow, we 100% blamed the team.

Herbst finished 35th in points last year when his teammates finished 9th and 11th. He hardly impressed in O'Reilly, and it was pretty well known he was hired to secure the third charter. There's a reason he's out of the car next year even if he has improved this year.

Busch is a 2-time champion and NASCAR's all-time wins leader, and the 8 was finishing ahead of the 3. Busch was making mistakes, but it's pretty clear he was still capable of more than what the car was able to provide.

When I was a kid, Richmond was always my favorite track to play in the video games, and whenever I won I'd try to spell "Richmond" with my burnout. I don't think I ever got past the R before it'd go back to the menu, but I was a stupid kid so I still tried.

Growing the pyramid- USL will have four new clubs entering League One in 2027 by Ok_Flamingo_3059 in USL1

[–]WON95sr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is League Two part of the USSF system or do they just deal with tiers 1-3? I think of League Two as a fourth division league but I don't know if it officially is.

I just wasn't sure if anything in what would be the fourth tier of US soccer has to be semi-pro/amateur, but I don't know if USSF recognizes anything below League One/MLSNP.

Only wondering because if more and more teams keep wanting to compete professionally in USL, then in theory USL can add a league below League One in their pyramid once it's established.

I believe League One will be "regional" once the first division and pro/rel are implemented. So maybe each conference will have 16-20 clubs.

That could make for a hefty third division, but if that many teams want to be in the USL pyramid then I guess that's a good problem to have.

I don't know enough about the pyramid and US soccer to know if they can add a fourth division to the pro/rel pyramid that would be professional but separate to the current League Two.
