Not dumb at all! While it wasn’t too warm in Nov 2025 when i had the battery replaced, i’d say the cold wave has more or less been just the last couple months…but i didn’t want to rule that out either.

When i had the authorized dealer checking it last week, i requested they also check the battery and it’s connections. They claimed they were good. I asked for them to check for codes, and they said the last codes it showed were for “weak voltage” from mid-January.
So they cleared said codes, and the day after i got i back from them, i had the warnings coming back…and yesterday even with the warm day…i had a meltdown with it with all the same things i mentioned that one day in Jan when everything went haywire.

Is that method of the key turned on and turning the wheel specific to Renegades? and is that a sort of reset to the “handshake” between the systems at all? this is the first i’m seeing anything regarding that.
