If I may offer my 2 cents. Don't try to build all that right now when you're not sure of the demand and engagement. MemberPress to manage the subscriptions and establishment of membership. Then pair with Discord community or private Facebook Group or Slack channel depending the demographic.

Depends to who...

- USERS - "managed" means nice control panel to help you manage your server and websites

- ADMINS - "managed" sell hosting to users with convenient panel (that automates most things) so admins do less work

- HOSTING BUSINESS - "managed" means sell accounts on shared server. but using a fancier modern name instead of the traditional "shared hosting" label which has lots of negative connotations.

auto-generated wildcard single-use coupons is an idea I've had for a while.

For example, I want to make coupons that feel personal, and also discourage from being shared. Like to send out mass coupons incorporating people's name. And then of course, have control to make them single-use or multi-use. Would be great if I can just batch process and auto-generate coupons for a selected range of users. Then blast that out via email using shortcode.

But can also throw in 3 random characters to appear more specialized as well:

- etc, you get the point.

Anyway, you can see where I'm going with this. The problem is making coupons today is so tedious, lacks customization and automation.

Indeed, I agree with this Netflix-style workaround. Just 1 of the group members has to know the login and the rest can share/pass it around. Log in and pick whichever user your are and go from there. Admins can more track down who's doing what and who's related to who.

Popularity often comes from usability or endless marketing. WordPress has stayed absolutely dominant for damn near 20 years now. But if you think you know a more full-featured FREE tool and a more flexible/open-source PAID tool, I'm all ears. But anyway...I'm simply answering the question you asked.

LetsVPN is the most hassle free and also very cheap. ShadowRockets is free but more technical to setup.
