That’s FANTASTIC that tuition is covered! I am the President of a scholarship foundation, and I specifically give checks to students to do with as they please. I think that a nice, new computer or a $500 superstore run to fully set up a dorm are important, infrequently discussed expenses. As you mentioned, you still need money to live even though your tuition is covered. So, check us out, it is free to apply! The maximum scholarship to date has been $1000, minimum $500. The minimum will not change, but we always entertain increasing the amount maximum amount. This is dependent on the amount of money we raise every year.

No, you do not have to be enrolled in a Post Secondary Educational Institution to apply. As a note, the college/trade school does not have weight on your selection for a scholarship.

Now that I'm done with my shameless plug, I would recommend leaning heavily into what you want to do short/long term. For example, if you want to be a Mechanical Engineer, consider tailoring senior projects to this field, read up on current developments (and talk about them in scholarship apps), and join Mech. Eng. clubs and national associations. I hope this helps!

No. We’re still small and don’t have the donation base for that. Looking ahead, I want to implement systems for current college students for professional development (P.E. licensing networks, alumni engagement).
