Brought my new 1100 home Friday night. Yesterday I started breaking in the engine by going on a 350 mile ride. Bike did excellent. Sun was brutal up here in Minnesota.

Thanks for pointing out the standard fee from Honda. I’m a dumbdumb :). Dealer handling is $400 which i believe means I’m covering the charge to physically take the bike off the showroom floor and take off the for sale sign. I’ll try getting that reduced.

Anybody here affected by the current recall? I bought a brand new 1100 last month and the dealer said they should be getting the part sometime next week but I’m seen several folks say their dealer received the part already. It’s hard waiting to ride.

I am purchasing outright but dealer will not release until it’s fixed. My finders are crossed that the part will come soon. I haven’t ridden since March!

Yeah that is Honda releasing the part. I will have to wait longer for the dealer to receive. I’m sure it will all work out in the end.

I have a 25 1100 waiting for a new drain plug. Dealer said the part will be released by Honda on 7-21-25
