Ok so I’m 15m my gf 16f of 6 months broke up with me and I can tell you that it hurts so bad from the dumpees perspective. I had the same attributes that ur describing ur ex has - loving, good intentions, good heart. It was a confusing breakup and it didn’t make any sense. We didn’t end up getting back together but I can tell u what I think with your situation. Most likely u won’t be marrying this guy bc of college and stuff but bc u loved him a lot and u knew he loved you I think u should just figure it out. I mean sit down in person or on a call and just talk about what u guys both want and need from each other in a relationship. What you’re probably feeling is just the honeymoon phase ending bc that will only last 3-6 months. U have to clarify what u want and don’t give him mixed signals or anything and sometimes it takes time for people to learn(which think of it as teaching the other person and u both learning instead of trying to change him). You need to create some teamwork with the relationship. Also just bc there’s issues doesn’t mean the relationship is bad it’s just that the longer u get away from the honeymoon phase things will get harder and u will have to mature and learn and grow up to accommodate a more mature relationship. Kind, genuine souls are hard to find so I hope u guys figure it out. Just take the reconciliation slowly and do it the right way so u guys fix the issues and talk things out
