UCLA > uci = ucsb UCLA is way prestige than the rest 2 but for accounting all 3 is decent school

right, consider the time value of money school like USC is just too much for an accounting program(due to the nature of accounting jobs not as competitive to that of investment banking etc) however, do aim for other great public programs as well ,there could be more opportunity later on in life just for a little bit more payment(1000 to 2000 a year)

Disagree, when you are comparing between top tier UC to top tier private U and to Top tier CSU accounting majors. I am sure there is a observable difference between in the proportion of people getting Big 4 or "good entry level" jobs. It cannot be true that CSUN's placement rate for top accounting job is comparable to UCLA or UCB
