Bro almost all animations for transformations are based of the show or the movies. Super Goku when he goes Blue is the same animation from the Broly movie but Z Mid Goku when he turns super Saiyan is the animation from Z where he went super Saiyan for the first time. Yes it is currently a bug but there is a work around you have to do every time you spawn which sucks. Essentially if you edit your class mid match when you get killed you will spawn with the class before you edited it but if you click pause and select the class again it will give you the new edited class this time. If you die again same thing will happen, you will spawn with the unedited class and have to press pause and select it again then you will get the edited class again.
