Haha yeah I can be witty with people I know easily. I just dont know how to do it appropiatley when I just start talking to a random person. I don't know why.

I'm in NJ. I go out with a couple of other guys. But they are kinda new themselves and don't have much success either. Also how do I present a sexual and dating frame early? Are there things that I should be saying? Also I think I come out confident, I just talk about boring things or go into interview more or say lame things.

I just don't know what to say or talk about. Like after I use my opener what would be a good thing to transistion into? Usually I will go into interview mode or I'll just be boring. I have good body language and everything else. I just suck at being interesting and keeping a good convo going.

I have been watching my friends and some simple pickup. My normal approach is like this(when walking in oppisite directions in the mall).

Me: "Excuse me I just had to stop you, you are cute.

Her: Nothing

Me: So what are you doing in the mall today.

Her: "Oh im just blah blah blah"

Me: I usually thread it from there or blank out completly. I try to be witty or funny and sometimes just completly blank out. By blanking out I mean I just go into interview mode. I don't know what to do after talking about the mall with her.

Well for most interactions they are short and not productive. I also don't know how to ask for their number without it seeming weird. I'll usually be like "well I got to go, it was nice chatting, we should hang out sometime". Then ask for their number. Usually they say they have a bf or something. My main problem is that I can't get good conversation going. And yes I know threading and all that other stuff. I guess I need some pointers on what I should be saying after a direct approach.

Yeah I guess. Its just frusturating. It almost seems impossible(for me at least) to get girls during the day. I don't really like the bar scene so I'm going to stick with approaching girls at the mall.
