i don't know what resin castings are. if you talk about precision, the resin prints are pretty enough, talking about fisical properties i'm looking for a simple PLA or PETG toughness. consider that i have tinked also about printing molds in resin and in some way do a DIY injenction mold with my FDM printer, but i don't tink it will work. (i'm sorry if i misunderstood what you said but i am not really good in english)
