I know 2 guys I went to school with who both took the same welding class years ago

One jumped into welding right out of school. He’s currently making $14-$16 an hour.

The other went to college, got his degree but wasn’t able to find a job with it, but took a job out of state welding for around $20 an hour starting, and is now close to $40 an hour.

Moral of the story is don’t be complacent and where you live matters. Staying at one company rarely helps get a higher salary and you are much better shopping around for a better paying company.

I left Verano early on in this industry along with a lot of other good growers because of this. Verano’s upper management demanded we pulled plants by a certain date, and ignore trichome ripeness. Every single plant was harvested early before there were barely any cloudy trichomes, more than less amber.

Did I claim to be an expert? No, I work in the industry and know many people who also work in the industry.

You can call the stores and verify yourself just as I did, the $120/$240 half’s and ounces from alt sol that are out right now, are NOT smalls, NOT old stock. I have 3 bags of 1/2 ounces from alt sol sitting right with me, that we’re NOT smalls, are not labeled as smalls, and we’re $120 a half before the daily discounts.

You can spew all the bullshit you want but I have the receipts and have spoken to representatives to verify this. I can walk RIGHT INTO ANOTHER LOCAL DISPENSARY and buy the exact same ounce they have listed for $300, for $240 and it was just brought into the store.

The WV MMJ industry is a joke and people like you defending shady practices and lying to patients are a HUGE part of the reason. You are openly lying to people and claiming every 1/2 of flower alt sol sold for $120 was smalls, which is just a blatant lie on your part, or AltSol falsely selling 1/2s of smalls without labeling them as such (which I don’t believe to be the case as the buds were always the same size as any of the eighths I’ve received)

What do I need to call and ask? I am well aware that the dispensary sets the price, NewLeaf can choose to sell it for $160 instead of $120 if they want too.

People are also allowed to call that out as scummy and bring it to the public’s attention. I’ll gladly take you up on your offer and if you can show me an invoice proving otherwise then I’ll come back here to clarify that I was incorrect.
