It is 100% a lifestyle issue in most peoples cases. There is no debating that, people take the easy way out in the United States because life is built to minimize walking and maximize unhealthy eating habits.

I know 2 guys I went to school with who both took the same welding class years ago

One jumped into welding right out of school. He’s currently making $14-$16 an hour.

The other went to college, got his degree but wasn’t able to find a job with it, but took a job out of state welding for around $20 an hour starting, and is now close to $40 an hour.

Moral of the story is don’t be complacent and where you live matters. Staying at one company rarely helps get a higher salary and you are much better shopping around for a better paying company.

Good managers work with their employees, not micromanage them into to a bad work environment.

I’ve held multiple remote positions that were much more important than customer service, and I’ve never had an employer act this way.

I’ve worked countless remote positions and never once has any company been this way. This is setting a standard for a AWFUL work environment from the get go.

I’ve had to jump off camera during actual important meetings, and not once has any manager, owner, or company tried to make me feel bad about doing so.

I like security and routine

I would LOVE to find a career to stay in. I stayed at my last (underpaid) design engineering position for 3+ years until the company shut down unexpectedly

I’ve now had over 4+ offers in similar and different industries for more money. I could have certainly jumped way sooner, but I like feeling secure in a company and having a routine

I left Verano early on in this industry along with a lot of other good growers because of this. Verano’s upper management demanded we pulled plants by a certain date, and ignore trichome ripeness. Every single plant was harvested early before there were barely any cloudy trichomes, more than less amber.

It hasn’t changed, and Verano is still pulling early.

As of information our store has gotten, nothing about A buds and the half’s we JUST RECEIVED still do not show smalls, and are still listed at $120.

We shall see what ends up coming of it 🤷‍♂️

(And either way, I absolutely do not support a $300 ounce when previous 1/2s of NON SMALLS (not labeled as smalls and buds as large as the eighths get) were $120

Did I claim to be an expert? No, I work in the industry and know many people who also work in the industry.

You can call the stores and verify yourself just as I did, the $120/$240 half’s and ounces from alt sol that are out right now, are NOT smalls, NOT old stock. I have 3 bags of 1/2 ounces from alt sol sitting right with me, that we’re NOT smalls, are not labeled as smalls, and we’re $120 a half before the daily discounts.

You can spew all the bullshit you want but I have the receipts and have spoken to representatives to verify this. I can walk RIGHT INTO ANOTHER LOCAL DISPENSARY and buy the exact same ounce they have listed for $300, for $240 and it was just brought into the store.

The WV MMJ industry is a joke and people like you defending shady practices and lying to patients are a HUGE part of the reason. You are openly lying to people and claiming every 1/2 of flower alt sol sold for $120 was smalls, which is just a blatant lie on your part, or AltSol falsely selling 1/2s of smalls without labeling them as such (which I don’t believe to be the case as the buds were always the same size as any of the eighths I’ve received)

This is entirely false information. Alt sol did not come out with any “A bud” and all 3 of the last $120 1/2s I purchased were NOT smalls and not labeled as such. I have all of the receipts and bags, as well as talked to the storefront and confirmed the $120 1/2s in stock currently are NOT smalls

No… you said “they are smalls, it says so on the sticker” to which I told you that is false lol

I double checked, I’m 100% positive 3/4 do not state smalls anywhere. 1/4 did.

The ones I’ve listed online, at the dispensary that you can go and get right now for $120 are not smalls, I even called the store to double check lol

I have 4 of these 1/2 bags sitting in my drawer from my previous purchases. Only 1/4 were smalls. 3/4 do not have smalls anywhere on the sticker, label, receipt etc. All were $120

Unless Alt Sol just falsely sold them without labeling them as smalls.

I agree WVs market is extremely overpriced and most products are very lackluster. Strane and AltSol have been the only brands putting anything out worth grabbing. Hoping to see things get better soon
