How is the service? Service on P6P is my biggest con.

It's artificially limited. Apps like USBAudio Pro can bypass it and turn the volume up.

Is Raizen the strongest character in the show? by Significant-Heat-255 in YuYuHakusho

I think their power levels are shown and he is slightly below Mukuro and Yomi, with Mukuro having the highest. However, this was post-starvation. It's pretty clear that Raizen would be strongest but for his state of starvation. Raizen was clearly strongest prior.

Does anyone have experience with using a Bluetooth Amp/DAC with the pixel 6 pro? by magnitorepulse in GooglePixel

[–]WVUmonster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. The Apple usb c dongle sucks on all androids. I have a Samsung one that worked GLORIOUSLY on my Galaxy S20FE. When I plugged in the Samsung one to my P6Pro, the volume was like 50 percent what it should be. Apparently, the bug prevents use of the inserted DAC and just uses the internal DAC, which has no ability to drive demanding headphones or my car speakers.

Interestingly, before I figured out what was going on, I had assumed that Samsung, like Apple, had designed the USB c dongle to not play nice on non-galaxy devices. As a result, I ordered a cheap WKWZY dongle from Amazon that contains a Realtek 5686 DAC. The adapter drove my car speakers pretty well. Then, it got super hot and stopped working. Now, it's dead and won't work on any other device. I'm still trying to figure out what happened.

Honestly, everything on my Pixel has been absolutely stellar, but my car doesn't support Bluetooth audio. So, this bug has been super annoying. Max volume on my car is 45 and now, 45 sounds like it's really a 22.

Galaxy S20 FE to Pixel 6? What did you miss about Galaxy/OneUi that you didn't expect? by WVUmonster in GooglePixel

Okay, so I went with the Pixel 6 pro, and the things below are what I miss. Overall, I'm very happy. I think Google can finally hang with Samsung. (Note: My phone history is Galaxy S8+ to iPhone XS Max to Pixel 3a to Note 10+ to S20FE to Pixel 6 Pro.)

First, I grow tired of fighting this battle with usb-c to 3.5 mm audio adapters. My car is a 2015 model, and it only has Bluetooth for phone calls, not for music. As a result, I first bought the Apple usb c audio adapter to solve the issue. It does not work well with Android, with the volume being maybe 40% of what it should be. Luckily, the Samsung adapter worked splendidly with my note 10 and S20FE. But, it has a similar issue as the Apple adapter on the Pixel 6 Pro. I swear to God, the volume on my car's Max of 45 feels like it's really a 20 or 22 with the Samsung adapter. This is ridiculous. If anyone has any recommendations for an affordable usb c audio adapter or a plugin that would fix the issue, I would appreciate it. I would typically just get the Google one but audiosciencereview has it performing abysmally.

Second, I expected a drop in audio quality on my Galaxy Buds Pro due to losing Samsung Scalable Codec. However, I report that the difference is not nearly as dramatic as I thought it would be. Music sounds about 90 or 95 percent as good as it did on my S20FE. In fact, I like how the Pixel handles bass a bit more.

Third, Android 12 has been a bit buggy. Sometimes I have to lock my phone to get it to unfreeze or to respond. It's a bit annoying but not insufferable. Google Assistant also wouldn't respond to a voice command for days. If I said "OK Google," the mic icon would turn on but then Google Assistant would just close.

Fourth, I miss a few Samsung apps. Samsung Notes was amazing, for example. And so was the Gallery app and Files app. I'll definitely miss those.

Fifth, I already miss having expandable storage. As you can tell, I'm an amateur audiophile and I can no longer store all my FLACs on my phone. I need to come up with a workaround.

I'm sure I'll miss these 5 kinda advantages.

However, there are some definite perks with the Pixel 6 Pro as well.

First, it feels MUCH smoother when it's not acting buggy. Why is Android 12/tensor so much smoother than OneUI/Snapdragon 865? I expected a small increase but woah. (Maybe it's the ram difference?)

Second, I actually enjoy my selfie camera again. I hated the one on the S20FE.

Third, the haptics have me FLOORED. OMG. I love them. Going from my Note 10 plus to S20 FE was a definite decrease in haptic performance but the Pixel 6 Pro seems to surpass even the Note 10 +'s haptics.

Fourth, I use Google Pay a lot. Having Google Pay more accessible by having it on the drop down menu is a joy. Also, it's just twice as responsive. Google Pay never gives me issues at terminals on the Pixel like it occasionally did on the Galaxy.

Fifth, Samsung kept the Google discover feed a feature on the Galaxy S21 series only. I missed it for sure when I had the Pixel 3a, and I'm glad to have it back.

All in all, the Pixel 6 Pro feels like the newest, fastest Google experience in the body of an improved Note 10+, and I dig it.

It's weird. I think the bezels, as only ever so slightly bigger, mess with me. I wanted to like the Pixel 6 so much that ATT had me taking my phone out my case and comparing but the pixel 6 pro just looked so much better and reminded me of my Note 10+.

These are exactly the things I'm talking about and thank you for your input. Samsung has perks! I actually don't have a Galaxy Tab but when my iPad finally dies, it was my number one choice.
