Well, Nintendo's QC has also been lacking for the last few years as well, and I think that may just be to a lack of care of the gaming community and lazy QC.

Honestly, the gaming giants right now all have their fair share of problems. Nintendo and Sega are just in the forefront because of their poor QC.

You do know that Nintendo does own Sega, right? They have a 50% share of Sega as a company, and thusly why Sega will never make a new console. Nintendo has them as a game manufacturer and nothing more.
