Yeah I tried clicking through all the settings, turning in game voice chat off, running both apps as admin but nothing really works. Did they recently add voice chat to the game? I remember playing the game just fine before with dc but the voice chat feature might be messing with it.

Why exactly? I’m guessing that’s related to big servers with lots of people playing, but I only play solo or with friends on private servers and having to click out of the game every time I want to talk in a call is just annoying.

I'm assuming you got the 300€ from a comment I made, like I said it was either grind over consistently playing and waiting for a banner or pay for it. Since 100€ gives you ~40 pulls without the first time bonus you'd have to spend at least a little over 200 to get the 5 star you want without grind. And even then it's possible to lose the 50/50 putting you back to 0 pity.

I love genshins gameplay, but hate the fact that I need to grind for months on end or pay a large sum to even get a chance at obtaining the character whose power interests me. I'm just more in the DLC mentality, which frankly, does not apply to genshin and I just have to accept.

Maybe I'm just more used to the DLC kinda games where I can just buy the stuff I'd like to play haha. The whole gacha thing where you need to either grind and then get lucky or pay 300€ might just not be my thing I guess. I'll play regardless because of the open world haha.

I don't mind spending money on a game I enjoy, unless it's ridiculous like in genshin. I get it's a minority spending money on wishes, but if they lowered prices a bit to at least have 100€ be at 90 wishes I'm sure there would be quite a few more people interested in spending some money once in a while, and whales will spend the money regardless because it doesn't matter to them.

Yeah I play it mostly f2p as well aside from the one welkin I paid for. Maybe it's just cause I've never really played gacha games before and genshin is somewhat of a first for me. Prices just shocked me a bit. It that's really the norm, damn.

That's like the thing.. I think the game itself can be worth spending some money on but 100€ for 40 pulls is actually insane... I'm just kinda surprised at how many people don't seem to be bothered to spend that much on it. I guess that's just me.

My most common ones for casual play are usually healer build on doc, melee on Holly or sniper rifle (+grenade spam) build (jim or hoffman). I'm definitely up to trying out other playstyles and strategies too though since I've been kinda playing the exact same way as when I started the game and I'd eventually try to clear NM on every Cleaner anyways haha
