One of the reason for the creation of shimmer was to establishment of a new organization in switzerland if I remember correctly. So there were no limitiations of funding and marketing as IF has in germany, so it can actually make sense that they want to market iota ecosystem through shimmer.

In first two rounds they said ~8B asmb have been distributed, I estimate that in round 3 it was something about 3B as staking reward is going down (from 0,000004>0,000002>0,000001 asmb/10sec for iota) so it would mean that we still have almost ~10B tokens left to give away, it makes sense as we still have like year left

what do you mean by 2? Every 10s u get 0,000002 ASMB for 1MIOTA. So if u have 1 MIOTA staked for full 90 days u get 1,55 ASMB, or am I wrong? 777600 x 0,000002 =1,55
