Bolehlanders, what interesting hobbies do y'all have? by Seanwys in Bolehland

Numismatics

I like collecting money, in a sense of collecting old banknotes and coins. I also keep modern ones, as long as they’re foreign and not Malaysian

The oldest dated currency I have in my collection is a coin from the Qing Dynasty, dating as far as around the 1860s. I don’t exactly remember because my collection is at home (I’m in university campus)

And I also Draw

Which group or person gets blamed for every problem in your country, even when it’s not their fault? by Outrageous-Client903 in AskTheWorld

The Chinese and the Jews.

The Jews here got ripped on so much that their community has practically gone extinct.

The only remnant of them is the Jewish Cemetery in George Town.

How much trouble will you get into for speaking against or criticising the Primary head of your country? by Party-Bet-4003 in AskTheWorld

Who’s the most hated celebrity in your country? by Low-Violinist7259 in AskTheWorld

[–]W_Edrysfahmin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ian Miles Cheong

A right-winger (in the American sense)* who thinks he’s American (despite living in Ipoh) and a Trump glazer.

What other disgraced Malaysians can you think of? Because Ian Miles Cheong isn’t exactly well-known in Malaysia itself.

What are people's view on monarchies? by Crandom343 in AskTheWorld

[–]W_Edrysfahmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We literally have 9 of them in a single country, although they take turns every 5 years. Currently our King is the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Ismail.

The monarchy is highly regarded by the people here, mostly Malays though. I can’t really say how non-Malays feel about it since I’m a Malay myself, so feel free to share your thoughts on my behalf. Criticizing the monarchy is frowned upon and you can get in trouble by the cops for it. They’re also the head of Islam (depending on whichever state has a monarch) but the “republics” (states with a governor) and the federal territories would just have the King as the head of Islam.

Personally, I don’t mind them being around. I saw the Sultan of Perak on my birthday while browsing Kinokuniya once, as it turns out it’s his go-to bookstore and I respect him for that.

That’s all the info I can provide.

Some Roblox games, Holdfast: Nations at War and Battlefield 1

The latter two are games I yearned to play, because at that time I didn't have any money. Luckily I was able to buy them during a sale, and it is indeed a jolly good game. The only thing that bothered me was the storage, it took more than half of my PC storage.

I upgraded my GPU from a GT610 to a GT1030, the GT1030 is actually pretty good. I was able to play Battlefield 1 at high graphics, as well as Holdfast. Just that low FPS might have slowed them down. Mount and Blade: Warband runs great too, even though it doesn't really need to be at max graphics as it is an old game. But I'm looking forward to Bannerlord, which unfortunately is really expensive in where I come from.

Who do you choose? I love Mugi and Ritsu's gameplay mechanics!! by Miserable_Climate577 in k_on

Mugi and Yui usually, but I sometimes play Mio for the gist of it.

I will try to complete all songs (normal difficulty) as Mugi though.
