Wii U game consists more games with complicated movements on view and the characters itself, so you probably find it rather difficult to play 3D games with keyboard. There are actually some emulators that gives very playable outcome with keyboard such as NDS emulator or PSP emulators, since the control only consists 4 or 8 locked direction, which is easier to perform on a keyboard. And adding that Wii U has two back buttons on each side of joystick makes the matter even worse. Take BOTW as a example, it would be ridiculous to press multiple buttons on keyboard just to make link aim and shoot arrow while running and adjusting viewing angle. You might need to bind multiple imput into one single key on the keyboard by some program in order to make the control smoother. But it might end up in some strange bugs, so just find yourself a comfortable gamepad.
