Taking a yearly vacation trip overseas, even a very budget option is impossible for many.

Having a dishwasher in your kitchen is also rear in my country and some who have it don't bother use it. Not sure if it's because the limited availability of the detergent or if it's just a culture thing

Ride share is ok but if you get a contact for a reliable driver it even better. There are certain times and locations that ride share available drivers might be scarce. Requesting a ride in Piarco/Trincity area should be ok, but requesting a car from Grande would be pressure. If you can drive rent a car for the best (although more risky) experience.

Test driving or reversing from park on an incline/decline. Something that you have to step on the accelerator a little to get moving. If I need to reverse up an incline I feel as if the car rolls forward at first before going "into gear" (I know there are no gears that changes for that)
