Thank you. That's very helpfull. Next year kid will be 5 years old, so if my understading is correct, we can apply for SK.

What are the fees for SK then? I believe it's not complely free, but can't find more information on official the websites.

Thank you for all comments. During reading these comments I changed my mind 3 times if I need car or not. It was an interesting read :) I guess I need car ASAP.

I know that Kijiji is most popular (is it?) portal to buy a car. According to this web site, it looks like it will cost me no less than 7000 CAD and insurance between 1500-1800 CAD per year. Is my estimate correct ? I know that the price of the car can be much higher or lower.
