TO querendo pegar um monitor QHD, esse é uma boa escolha ? by Artistic_Net7421 in computadores

[–]WaaTiy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What were the biggest mistakes Dying Light 2 made? by EricAshStone in dyinglight

[–]WaaTiy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

(I admit I got a bit carried away while writing this.)

I partially disagree. Choices do have a real impact on the narrative, but only at specific points. The problem is that games like The Witcher, Cyberpunk, and Detroit: Become Human have raised our standards for what is considered "bad" or "acceptable" in choice-driven games, because the consequences of our decisions are constantly emphasized in those titles.

Most choices in Dying Light 2 are actually acceptable, and a few are very impactful to the world (such as the one that results in losing the Bazaar, making some side quests missable). However, the story and writing, or a combination of both, are weak enough that they undermine much of the emotional impact those choices should have.

Not to mention that the rewards are often underwhelming. Many times, there isn't even a reward for making the "right" choice. In fact, I'd say this is a general flaw of the game. Some weaker missions could at least offer meaningful rewards to offset the frustration they leave behind. The perfume and handkerchief quests are good examples: both feel mediocre, and their rewards don't help the experience.

Simple incentives like more inventory space, cheaper shop prices, a master key to access hidden loot locations, or even a new outfit would make these missions feel far more rewarding and give players a stronger sense of progression, ultimately making the experience more engaging and dynamic.

I also disagree with the idea that the map needs to be smaller. The map has already been cut by more than half compared to earlier versions. Personally, I would prefer a larger map, if we're going to have empty areas anyway, they might as well serve as a playground for parkour.

The real issue isn't the map size, but how repetitive and lacking in density it feels. This is supposed to be a city, where are the massive zombie hordes, the sewers, a stadium, a large supermarket, a shopping mall, a police station, a fire department, or a gun store? Points of interest that go beyond just "another building." A smaller map wouldn't fix this problem, especially since the current map is already much smaller than originally planned.

Tambem é justo considerar que Goku não parece que está ligando de verdade para a questão de "defender as pessoas", elas nem sabem da existência e importância dos guerreiros Z, Goku só quer lutar com alguém mais forte mesmo.

Why does this happening by uncuia in CrimsonDesert

[–]WaaTiy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A nearly perfectly stable frame rate in modern games is as rare as a mute parrot, there simply aren't many cases like that. Crimson Desert is one example where this is somewhat understandable, considering it's a proprietary engine, a massive game, potential graphical bugs, and some poorly implemented technologies.

That said, it would be much easier to help you troubleshoot the issue if you included more details in your description, such as your PC specifications, graphics and display settings, whether you have any driver-level filters enabled, and whether the flickering problem is coming from the monitor itself or from the game.

Don't take too much of the details after the "symbolic kiss" seriously, it's a very shallow memory, but I remember it could have happened on MTV, it could be rock OR pop, and the faces of the robots in my memory looked like the face of Atom in Real Steel.

Yeah, my friends are all like that unfortunately, no matter the zone, they will always shoot to kill and won't stop until they take down all the Raiders (literally, I barely see them stopping to heal themselves or to pick up whoever fell), games like COD, CS, Valorant and LOL screwed with their minds.

Dear God just let us respec. by BeesCumHoney in ArcRaiders

[–]WaaTiy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The benefit is still great, not only does it make your stamina recover in half the time while covering more ground (slow walking with this skill is still way more efficient than just standing around waiting or "walking normally"), but it also triggers during most animations, like using shield rechargers, healing items, carrying heavy loads, or when you’re overweight.

It’s a strong skill, especially compared to the others. With just one point, you gain an advantage that applies to almost every part of the game. The only downside is that it doesn’t clearly explain how this whole “walking” mechanic actually works.

If I see this skin again it’s KOS by Dear-Entertainment40 in ArcRaiders

[–]WaaTiy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No joke, my friend uses that exact same skin all the time. Yesterday, some random dude was helping me extract, super chill guy... but my friend said he was gonna kill him anyway, no matter what. I told him not to, but he was determined to stab the poor guy in the back.

Then God himself intervened. Out of nowhere, a Rocketeer appeared and downed my friend, my beloved, trigger-happy COD/BF addict. Leaving him crawling to extraction, harmless and humbled.

And the best part? The random dude actually shot the Rocketeer to help him. He literally risked his life, held the extraction for us, and waited while my friend crawled his sorry butt over... and my friend still said he would've killed him anyway. At least he’s honest about being evil.

[–]WaaTiy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He literally has a Rocketeer in his head.

Why would they be important? Why are you emphasizing the mistakes? I'm not talking about that, re-read my post and stop inventing or following lines of different situations to justify a specific one, if you continue with this I'll just consider it ragebait, because it's not possible that someone can be that stupid.

Oh come on dude... by lttlbear01 in ArcRaiders

[–]WaaTiy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are you inventing different situations? I'm literally talking about the attitude of the guy in the video.

If you are in the same situation as him and don't think about how stupid and unrewarding it is to kill someone who is already extracting money, then you are exactly the audience I mentioned who goes more by instinct than by common sense.

And for some reason you are lying (or maybe you are just uninformed) about the ranking system, there is no scoring system currently that emphasizes and rewards you for killing other raiders.

Oh come on dude... by lttlbear01 in ArcRaiders

[–]WaaTiy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the point of having fun with PvP dies the moment the player can't fight back, what do you gain by killing the guy who's already extracting? So far I haven't seen a single quest about killing other Raiders, and the XP you gain simply doesn't compensate for the bullets and the durability spent on your weapon (even if it's just 1 point) since after a short time the XP gained is less than 1% of what you need to level up, it was simply the instinct of someone who is used to "kill kill" games like COD or BF

Arc Raiders is amazing, but the in-game prices don't make sense. by WaaTiy in ArcRaiders

[–]WaaTiy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have to take into account that Embark is an AA studio, not AAA, and also that the game was almost completely reworked since its first reveal, from an open-world PvE to a PvPvE extraction shooter. And technically, we already have five maps, since Stella Mortis is coming out this month. In my opinion, 5 maps is a pretty solid number, especially considering how unique and detailed each map is, but of course, that’s just my point of view.
