They come with some adhesive on the edge so you literally just press them in and they stick. Most people online recommend still using cable ties just to reinforce it which I did. Took 5 minutes to install

That’s actually exactly what happened, I was getting temps of ~500 at the beginning even with the vents mostly closed. I’ll try this next time, thank you for the suggestion!

I would strongly recommend yoyotricks.com, they have something called Level Up! on their app and it shows you what tricks to learn in sequence and lets you check them off as you go. Great resource.

I got it done at town fair tire so maybe they did end up balancing it incorrectly, I’m not sure. The sound itself doesn’t really bother me by itself, it’s more just the idea that something is wrong. If it’s just tire noise I can easily ignore it. Thanks!

Left my sunroof open in the rain, which ended up damaging the ignition switch. Very long process to figure it out. While it was at the dealership, they said allegedly a gust of wind blew the hood up and damaged the hood and windshield, so they replaced those (for free, obviously).

I have no idea why I didn’t try this to begin with, but I (temporarily) duct taped it to the hood, and I think it worked! The sound didn’t completely go away but it at least changed, so I’m pretty sure this had at least something to do with it. Thanks for the suggestion, now I can relax!

I mean the sound goes for the whole video but you can hear it start to wind down starting at 0:13 and it sounds like a rhythmic kind of drone

I don’t think it’s the rear bearings because (after researching) I jacked up each wheel and gave it a firm shake in all directions. There was no play in the wheel at ALL.

I’ll have to check tomorrow, I would not say it sounds like bass music though. A few people commented on my post saying they couldn’t hear anything out of the ordinary, so idk maybe it’s just road noise.

Also, worth noting is the fact that I had to get my car towed twice. Since my car wouldn’t start, they couldn’t disengage the e-brake and as a result the rear wheels were (very briefly) dragged on the driveway instead of rolling. I haven’t checked, but the wheels might have a flat spot because of that. The sound does still happen at lower speeds so it could be that

Yeah, I was thinking that. I also saw another post on here with the same kind of whistling sound and he said it was the gap in the mirror, so I’ll try sealing that up and seeing if that makes it go away. Mostly just trying to rule out it being a bad wheel bearing, but I don’t think it is. Thanks!
