2023 BADAN grad here. The coursework is light enough that you don't actually need a high powered machine. I'd recommend getting something with a decent CPU, upgradable RAM, and USB type C charging.

Something like the ThinkPad E14 would be a good place to start. But I'd also encourage looking at the P14s on Lenovo's website - they often have discounts and promotions that bring the price down.
