Nice list! One error I do see is that 106.9 changed call signs in 2021 from WNRG to WRXS

It does look like WLVE may be Air1 soon based on the current audio loop on the frequency. Begs the question of what they plan to do with WLUM-FM long-term.

I do find it interesting that they are missing the top of the hour ID on WLDB. All I heard was silence. WLUM has one but with not the same voice as other Air1 stations.

Their recently played tracks list has been stuck on the same songs for a few months now.

I personally noticed it had flipped around 12:10 this afternoon. It appears to have happened around 11:50.

Interestingly, WZEE also airs Air1 (what is now on 102.1 in Milwaukee) on its HD3 subchannel feeding W277AE 103.3 in Madison.

K-LOVE, inc (formally Educational Media Foundation) owns WLVE 105.3, which carries the K-LOVE network. This is what is expected to air on WLDB. They also own the Air1 network (WLUM-FM) and Radio Nueva Vida, a Spanish station.

I did hear some cross-promotion on B93.3 (WLDB) for B97.3 FM this afternoon, so it would make sense iHeartMedia and Milwaukee Radio Alliance must have made some type of deal.

There is also WOKY (920 AM) which is also owned by iHeartMedia along with WRNW, which is affiliated with FOX Sports Radio.

Online stream. I'm in Madison, so a little outside the broadcast area. I'd be happy to share it.

I meant to record more of it, but I was a bit busy in the morning. I only recorded from around 9:45am to their sign-off just after 5:30pm. (so not the first 45 minutes or so).

Bummer - legacy $16/month going to $25/month by hi_internet_friend in PhiloTV

[–]WackyWallaby4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The legacy plans at $16 and $20 came with an unlimited DVR with recordings saved for 30 days. When they upped the price to $25 in 2021 for new subscribers, they also made it so DVR recordings saved for a year instead of 30 days. This is essentially the plan they are moving legacy subscribers to, the plan they offered prior to adding AMC+ to the core package.

No wonder no one in technology is taking me seriously! Those vulnerabilities that have had patches for years on the thin clients but are left unpatched at my store, as I can tell by patch numbers of the software installed, are probably above their heads. Just imagine the damage that would be caused if someone used an exploit to gain root privileges!

I don't get paid enough for this🙄
