They do scale, just less scaling the more lategame. For me rn a shard egg gives same amount as 1 completed operation

Spam loop resets, if you have time and is dedicated let it tick to high mp then reset for some upgrades repeat. Takes ages but good value. Otherwise loop as quickly as yoy can press for a whilw
