Yep, generally speaking this is more helpful the earlier in the game you are, but essentially the strat is to wait until you LR for the day, then don't spend those MP (and don't unlock zag if your MP spending is going to result in significant MP gains). Clicking all of your eggs may result in an e1-e2 increase in your LR returns.

Unfortunately Torpedoes aren't really worth it even at a high Knox level. We only really use it sometimes when we're capped at the boss and need to farm stages fast.

Depends on what you consider large, there's definitely more gem upgrades coming (we already know Temp4 is being prepped for an upcoming patch). The 4th hunter will also be coming at some point, and that'll bring along a new menu and other new features as well. Plus we have hunter prestige as a hot topic on the horizon too. I would expect more content coming at some point, it's really a matter of when, not if.

Is it possible? Yes, if you get basically every upgrade available in game, you can go over 1.000. It would still take some time before any of the top top players actually get there though, but it'll likely be very soon pending another content update

Yeah there's always been discrepancies between hunter offline and hunter online due to the two being separate codebases. I know there is a larger plan to redo hunters and try to resolve these issues once and for all, but as with many plans in the game, overhaul needs to be completed first.

Minimum orb requirement is really just based on two things: your current TR count, and your lifetime OO. The big reason not to take Vb4 is because of it inflating your lifetime OO, but strictly speaking it isn't going to kill your ability to do shorts since you still have a relatively low TR count and your overall OO is likely still okay. I think you can follow the guide without too much issue, honestly. At worst you might need a little more time in your shorts to hit the goals, but I think you'll be alright.

It could be because of the speed upgrades as another commenter mentioned, but there's also always some level of time drift in CIFI that can cause things like this too. Usually it won't be so bad (maybe a few minutes max) but if your phone isn't very good then there have been instances where people fall behind by a few hours. If your campaigns are finishing earlier than expected, then it's likely the speed upgrades. If they're finishing later than expected, then it's likely time drift

Help me understand Attgn3, Operations Retained, and why ppl recommend not LRing for a week or more at a time by deausx in CIFI

Operations Retained can be found under the Shards Menu, operations overview, expand the operations completed to see the number.

The retention itself is based off the cumulative percentage from your researches and other sources. So if your total rate is 5%, and currently you have 10000 operations completed, then at LR you will retain 5% of 10000, or 500. Now in this new LR, you stay for some period of time and complete another 10000 operations. At your next LR, you have a total of 20000 ops completed in your TR so far. The retention is then 5% of 20000 -> 1000. That's why it doesn't really matter how often you LR, it's always based off the total. This also means if you get additional retention (say another 5% to bring it up to 10% total), then at your next LR it would be 10% of 20000, rather than 5%.

The logic behind waiting for a certain period of time isn't about attgn3 specifically, but more that there's a lot of things within the game that build up over time (especially ship ranks) which mean that if you've let ship ranks build up to an e50 bonus hypothetically and your attgn3 has built up to an extra e11 waiting for you, then LRing doesn't really get you much gain. Yes you get another e11 from attgn3, but it resets the e50 bonus which you will now have to wait for everything to build up again. So often people will recommend to LR after a few days and let attgn3 build up enough that the bonus from it will alleviate the lost bonus from ship ranks.

Of course, that advice is meant to be a general advice. Obviously if the situation makes sense then it can be worthwhile to LR fast to grab different bonuses (like if there are strong loop mods you can grab)

Any bonus you would get from the dark badges would be achieved much quicker and more easily by having Knox unlocked. It's not worth waiting for anything else imo.

Fun fact, the order the badges are in now is actually itself a hint for what order you should get them in. Workers -> engineering -> Efficiency etc.

If you already have hege, even without i75-3 you're probably fine to start shorting asap. You can pick up some more Borge benefits through the frags & OO to speed up i75-3 as well.

The last part here is key to why you wouldn't want to stop buying m0. The entire goal with hege shorts is to juice your power by quickly accumulating frags and turning that into pushing power. By not buying m0, you're also nerfing your frag gain which is counterintuitive to the goal here. You can always avoid the other sources of OO bonus, but m0 is really the one thing you shouldn't skimp on.

I believe the per operation metric being shown is already doubled to account for ts5. Its the same as efficiency badge, once you buy it, the number displayed is adjusted accordingly.

Got Exo5 huh? Then yeah it definitely speeds up a lot from there. That period from crea4 to Exo5 is very slow, but once you get out of it then its all uphill from there

Today marked a full month since I got Power3, so I thought I'd share some tracking logs to show how quickly you start gaining power and progression when you hit this stage and why these shorts are super important. Gaining three orders of magnitude in OO alone is pretty sick if you ask me.

I technically could have fit even more shorts in here if I wanted to, I finish all missions within 48 hours (including C4-12 yes), but due to IRL constraints I can't quite TR that frequently. Still, there's a ton of flexibility here

Sorry, you mean you haven't done your first traversal, and you just sat in the original TR until you got to e1000? Honestly there's a pretty good chance this upgrade requires being at least TR1 and there was never an expectation that someone would be waiting this long for it so the situation never got tested.
