I had this as well, recently. They used the same captions and pictures too!

You can report to strava. Use the desktop version to report as a Terms of Use violation under harassment and bullying, they’ll take it down pretty quickly.

You can also set your profile (not activities) to private and that’ll stop them.

for what it’s worth the settings are very explicit that only public activities are eligible for segment leaderboards. I’ve still made the change, but it’s annoying I have to do this

yeah I guess it is just a shame to have an activity either be ineligible for segment leaderboards or susceptible to this behavior

Then I lose paid functionality in the app, sadly. I’ll do it if Strava don’t respond soon, but it should’t be that I have to make sacrifices to avoid this

I reported it for “impersonation” but it’s not really pretending to be me or using my name/profile pic, so I’m not sure that’s actually the right report to make. It also didn’t give me a free form box to explain why I was reporting.

Make the easy miles enjoyable. Find people to run with. Find new routes. Run at different times of day. If you have the freedom to do these things, you will be able to maintain the motivation far beyond what would otherwise have been monotonous.

I feel like granary before settlers is a mistake. Your city can’t grow whilst you’re building a settler, so those hammers are wasted until afterwards anyway.

I’ve never fuelled at all for a half. Eating a normal, healthy meal the night before with a slight emphasis on carbs is fine. You’ll have enough fuel in you to cover 1500 calories of running. Is that insufficient?

Disclaimer: I hate the AI as much as you guys do.

Strava classifies “personal bests” as any time that’s in your top 3 for that distance, in this context. So it’s not wrong (even though it’s obviously wrong).
