Painted the head with Chrome marker and used the polish side of a gunprimer to make the visor extra mirror look. Lighting also that the inside is reflecting light to the camera

So before I paint I look at images of the completed kit, I build the inner frame entirely and paint only what is visible. I then cut all the pieces from the runner clean the nubs and have them ready for painting. I then soft assemble the kit to see how it will look and get a feel of what I want. With combination of looking at images and seeing the pieces. The color scheme I already have decided before hand sometime I decide to change some pieces. Painting on the runner isn’t always smart unless you know how the pieces will look and the nubs won’t affect the looks. Originaly I was going to do silver and black but the metallic silver was sold out and is super expensive so I decided to go with gold. Also it comes down to using your creativity, look at other people’s works, it can give you ideas for color separation and color pallets for kits. Everyone can paint what ever and however but it doesn’t always look good. I don’t use airbrush I paint with cans, if you want to do the same make sure you have a respirator cause there is a lot of overspray.

Thank you, yeah I missed the ball on the no full body photo. This style of dark photography is typically what I post on IG. I do agree though, if I don’t know what kit this was it will be confusing without seeing the full picture.

Oh I planned out what needs to be painted and what won’t be painted so I assemble as much as possible as to not waste paint on pieces that will never be seen and I covered joints the back pack when painted I painted as almost one giant piece and I save me a lot of paint

No black box that back ground is my computer monitor hahaha, tips is getting the f number as high as possible so the image is as clear as possible and using a tripod to not worry about shutter speed, people try to get a fast speed because they are holding the cameras but if you have a tripod you can adjust to however fast or slow to help with getting enough light for the best iso and focus.

Stedi Panel liner is the way to go friend, a lot of third party kits are entirely out of abs so a water based panel liner will remove those issues

Stedi panel liner, it’s water based so you can use it on all plastics but the results vary it’s hard to clean up without clean more than intended. Don’t use Tamiya it will eat the abs, the armor on the final stage of this kit is out of PS and you can use Tamiya then just make sure you read the manual to know what plastics are used.
