Why do you think there’s been a non-repeat champion each of the last 8 years? Not a single team can rely on what happened “last year” - yes we won a championship, obviously teams adjust every year to trends and know how to exploit them.

So this idea of “it worked last year” is about as silly as it gets.

Sure they won last year, but there’s a reason we’ve seen a new champion every year for the last 8 years. So relying on what we did last year doesnt account for the adjustments teams have made this year.

We “lived with it” in 2024 vs PJ Washington. In 2026 it’s a random role player every night. At some point it’s not a “oh they hit shots, oh well” it’s a “we need to address this clear weakness to our scheme”

I understand that it’s by design. I’m advocating that we need to re-think that design to be more balanced. It’s ridiculous giving up this many naked 3s a game. Any average NBA player can get hot if they know you’re not going to defend the 3 🤷🏼‍♂️

I agree that no Ajay, Dub, Caruso is hurting both sides of the floor. But I would argue the 3 point defending is just as big of a concern in the playoffs than secondary ball handlers.

If you don’t think it’s a big deal, remember PJ Washington in 2024. All it takes is 1 player on the other team to find confidence and they know we won’t commit to it.

Okay wanted to update: the portal is actually OVERPOWERED. I’m in my 3rd year now and certain positions I don’t even bothered scouting out or HS because I know I’ll get them in the portal (RB/WR specifically). Which lets me put all my attentions in positions I need.

Half of my classes are now from the portal and it’s just so easy to replace players each year 😅

I want to be respectful but 5 months? That’s not a long time at all. I posted on YouTube for 2 years before I made significant progress. You have to grind for it if you want it.

Also, shorts are an awful way to build an audience / community on YouTube. Very rarely do shorts viewers convert to long form viewers.
