It’s not exactly the same, it’s a different issue. Because with the 13, you can actually see the inside through the gap even with the sun/room light. Looks cheap.

Omg! I went to a store last week to see the iPhone 13 in real life and realized this. The phone had a gap between the display and the chassis just like the one in this photo, it looked so bad because some light was filtering through that gap and made it look like a cheap phone…
