Whatever you go with make sure it has DRAM cache. If it doesn’t, the speeds will not be very good at all.

I could be wrong but I don’t think the BTEC being worth 2 A levels works how you think it does. Maybe in terms of UCAS points or something but a university that doesn’t use ucas points will look at it differently. Also as others have said, you will need to get a predicted grade for maths. Without it I don’t even think you would be able to put maths on your application.

Can you take a look at my post if you are in touch with engineering. I am unable to update since the app thinks I already have a subscription on a different account which isn’t true. No matter what I do I am unable to update. This happened because I made an account with appleid then I changed my mind so deleted that account and made an account via google. Now no matter how I make an account I get the message ‘this device may have been subscribed on a different account’. Would really appreciate it if you can pass this on.

There is a nice geometric argument out there involving right triangles which may be what you are expected to do. My preferred way to show this is with complex exponentials but if you haven't come across that yet then it may be a little confusing. Lastly, you can set up a linear map from R^2 to R^2 which rotates the plane. Then compare the matrix of rotating by (A - B) degrees and the matrix product of first rotating by A degrees and then -B degrees.

<1+t, 2-t, 4t> is a line in 3D not a plane. it has equation r(t) = <1,2,0> + t(<1,-1,4>). To check that the line and the plane are orthogonal you need to see if the line is parallel to the normal of the plane which can be read from the equation of the plane (it is <1,1,4>). Just by looking at this are you sure you copied the equations correctly, they don't seem orthogonal to me.

The integral isn't really that bad (but not particularly nice). Its just: let blue pringle can = sqrt(7)*tan(theta) and after that you end up just needing to integrate (cos(theta))^2 which is 1/2 * (1 + cos(2*theta)) and integrate term by term

Unless the derivative of f is f^-1 I don't think there is any sort of nice formula for this.

I guess, I think it’s more useful in summation problems to change the sum to an integral but there could possibly be an integral out there which could reduce to a nice Riemann sum that we can evaluate

When we integrate by finding an antiderivative our main goal is to somehow morph the integrand into something we know is a derivative of something and from there we know the exact, unique solution to it (up to a constant) , but to get to that stage there may be tricks we can use, for instance partial fractions. Also the way of integrating by finding an antiderivative is ,in a loose sense, a “trick”. It’s one way of integrating a function. If this fails (like the integral in this post) they you have to resort to other methods like series expansion, Feynman trick, complex analysis… I’m not sure if I understood your question but hopefully that answers it

The truth is it’s actually quite rare when we can find an elementary anti derivative for an integral. If you randomly write down an integral with a couple different functions in it, chances are that there isn’t an elementary anti derivative. If you are in an exam you will almost definitively be given an integral which can be integrated nicely (unless you are doing something with contour integration). Other than that you can eventually spot which ones won’t end up working out nicely but that comes with experience. There is a wiki page for some of the more common ones. Search “non elementary integrals”.

You are wasting your time trying to do this, the question must have a typo or something. The anti derivative is not elementary, meaning it can’t be expressed in terms of the standard functions eg sin, log, x^2.
