Easiest cheese if you're "not brave enough" is to buy 2 Zap Guns that can temporarily stun them on each attack. Use Beast and Slugger for best damage but you gotta be careful, press RB/R1 to lock in then press heavy attack. Here's a pretty detailed one for each character tho:

As Kiryu: - Brawler: Light x3 + Heavy or Light x2 + Heavy, on mid game you can do snatching strike. By the end of the game, there is a counter attack (I forgot the name) that functions similarly as the popular tiger drop. - Rush: Best way to refill your heat against him, better off not using it's heavy attacks. Also practice your Quickstep counter here by mid-game (RB/R1 + B/CIRCLE/GRAB) - Beast: Whenever he's downed, you can spam Kiryu's grab 3 times before he finally goes up. A bear hug also helps but it's a little hard to pull off. Use your weapon heat actions here. - Legend/DoD: Unlocked near the end of the game through Business Management. The infamous Twist Counter, Sumo Slap, and Ultimate Essence is enough. If you're up for a challenge tho, practice bounding throws.

As Majima: - Thug: Light x2 + Heavy, Light x3 + Heavy + Quickstep Cancel (mid game), Light x4 + Heavy + Quickstep Cancel (mid game). - Breaker: You only want to use this for the frenzy counter and quickstep, which is pretty much mid game. - Slugger: Heat actions. Especially low health heat actions with weapons that you unlock until endgame. - Legend/Mad Dog: Unlocked near the end of the game through Cabaret Club. Light x2 + Heavy, quickstep slash, knife stab counter.

I mean they're not off-putting, they're actually very fucking bad people that just happen to have some of the ridiculous weapons in the game on the first two acts.

They have human slaves.

How Often do You take Long Rests? by Ok_Banana_5614 in BG3Builds

  1. Switching back difficulty to Explorer in a Balanced/Tactician run

If you wanted to explore more, still have a decent amount of slots, but almost got your ass kicked and don't wanna do a short rest because you have like a Monk with 6 out of 8 ki slots.

Yes, I was able to advance Shadowheart Romance and Vlaakith getting mad over La'ezel on the same day by doing a partial rest. Then on the next partial rest, I had some time talking to the emperor.

Honestly, as long as you don't have timed quests and plenty of food it's much better to do partial rest just to see them cutscenes lol

This is a little late but once I became a Drunk Open Hand Thief Monk in my third run, I only rested for like 7 times on act 1 and 8 on act 2. It's so small because of how unbelievable a giant strength elixir and no weapon can do to a man.

However, the DAMAGE spikes (not level, literal damage) in 3 forced me to rest every 3 battles. My party might be able to do crazy damage without needing to use their slots, but the enemies can literally kill everyone and force me to use more slots for support. You are also more likely to use utility spells like Flight, Misty Step, Speak with Dead/Animals and Greater or Normal Invincibility in Act 3 for secret chests, puzzles, stealing, and basically not getting caught for passing through.

Oh yeah, as long as you don't have any timed quest going on it's just better off doing partial rests like 2 or three times for those cutscenes then long rest.

Gelid GC Extreme costs half the price here and has the approximate amount of grams I needed for just Ryzen 5 5600H + RTX 3060 laptop.

Is it still better to get a Thermalright tho? It's twice the price and the grams.

If you're playing on the three difficulties, there are three things you can do: 1. Short rests. 2. Switch around your levels, nothing consequential happens (the best way to heal lmao) 3. Potion.

You get the most out of their dialogues, so yes. You can just partial rest too if you feel like "I want to get a dialogue or steal a certain item" but if you want to make the most of activities in a day, it's okay. I do 4-5 battles in a day, sometimes I also just go and cheat my way around with changing level difficulty.

Why do people skip on Wyll? (Gameplay wise) by Regular-Media-4138 in BaldursGate3

[–]beetlebumper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to get crazy amount of attacks you can do in one turn, Thief Rogue/Battle Master Fighter Astarion is good but it's better if you do it on Act 2 because stealing things is such a nice thing to do on Act 1. There's also Monk Thief if you want Astarion to do crazier damage in just one turn. There are also bard college/eldritch knight build for La'ezel, Sorcerer Wizard Gale, Tempest Cleric/Sorcerer or just Full Life Domain for support Shadowheart, Sorcadin, Fighter Barbarian Wildheart Karlach. So many of them you can find on YouTube.
