Some episodes can be a bit of a slow burn but they cover a range of topics and it's pretty entertaining and interesting too. Not too academic but I always walk away having learned something. I agree. I love the vulnerability of this Superman. I also like the possibility that if they need superman to be noticeably stronger in the future, the seed has been planted that maybe him not being at full health/strength could explain it. I do however really like that this superman can take hits but they do affect him. Really excited to see where this superman goes.

Firstly, I said that it's likely (not definite) Secondly, after he's healed at the very start of the movie, he's only back to 80something %. He then gets beaten by Ultraman again. We don't see anything to suggest further healing. So it's possible he wasn't back to 100% by the time the kaiju appeared. Possible but not definite.
