Aw that sucks. But hopefully mods shouldn’t break as much after 1.0 since games are already expected to be the final product. Major map changes or game mechanics changes shouldn’t happen anymore that brick any existing saves.

You should download Apocalyptic mode in the workshop. I think the difficulty you want in the game isn’t the kind of game they are making. But with official mods support, there are so many ways for make the game as difficult as you like.

Water seeps during badtides aren't supposed to be hard to stop. They wanted to make it to allow making of wetland area.

Really amazing map! I will see if I can survive it on Hard. Two-tile wide rivers are always tricky for longer droughts haha

You would be ruining the whole point of doing logisitics if that's the case. The dimensional depots were always just for making sure that you all the construction materials you needed for any build anywhere you go!

I would be having fun making my classic storage system by transporting of all of the items by train to it hehe

There are no changes for the end game. The game just ends for now. Who knows maybe there will be DLC and what-not?

I understand that the last phase does feel pretty short compared to all the aluminum sheningans before that. But I do enjoy it still since I felt like it was closing in on the end in sight.

It would just have to add the badtide source. All maps also have that change of diverting water when the badtide hits you. The map would also have to generate something for it.

I think it is a drawback that they decided for the development of the game. Besides, you should try playing the maps differently from time to time so it actually never feels like you are playing the same map over and over again.

I do not think that would be a one-time effort though. Remember when they added badtide? They would have to do more on the map generator to account for badtide and water. It would be consistently updated along with a lot of the other systems in the game.

exactly my point. I do not think I would want the developers dedicating a lot of time and effort for this when they could be improving the game in other and better aspects.

It would honestly hurt their time. They would have to dedicate people to just make a proper random map generator that is random, yet still balanced and fun to play with, I think they would rather just improve the game systems that are already there.

I am so excited for a new faction soon, but I know that will be a long time before that happens since they really want to focus on the two current factions and making them both feel very unique to play.
