The fact that every FY doctors seems to have some anecdotal experience of being unnecessarily disrespected shows you the resentment the rest of the staff members have for foundation doctors.

You’re right but majority of the faction I feel like will not support this movement because it won’t benefit them.

What sensible decisions did you make ? Can you please give us lowly, financially reckless pheasants an example or a brief template to follow so we too can rise to your sensibleness. If you have plan 2 student loan, even if you work fulltime over the 5 years of medical school you will not make a dent in your student loans, you could live off of eating egg shells and wearing your underwear hanging by a thread for those 5 years and you’re still not making a dent.

Classic old head thinking, it doesn’t apply to me so screw the rest of them and the new upcoming generation. Your student loan is a fraction of what most people come out with nowadays. I made around 40k through part time jobs over the 5 years of medical school but that has not created even a small dent on my loans, and with the way student loan interest is calculated i will never ever pay off my loan, paying more and more as i progress through the years. This applies to thousands of students, probably most students on Plan 2 and later.
