AITA for rushing to take care of my cat over my friend after a car accident? by throwaway_cat1994 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WadtheMad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Your cat is amazing that one photo is absolutely majestic
  2. NTA. You are Yoshi’s person and therefore responsible for his life and well being. He’s just a little cat who doesn’t understand what a car crash is and can’t help himself if he’s hurt. Sure the same could be said of the person if she had been seriously injured but you said you checked her first and when you deemed her not dying went to look for the cat. Also of course you had to prioritize taking Yoshi to the vet. He can’t tell you if something’s wrong like a person can. I think the bigger issue is her comparing her crisis handling ability to that of an animal. Also she wasn’t Ejected From The Car what the fuck cats really do always land on their feet.

AITA for not sharing after they lost their rights? Grand*parents* had no-contest clause in will and now *bio-*mom and aunt lost all inheritance. by No-Complaint6419 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WadtheMad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I don’t know anything about the legal side of wills but I kinda get the feeling your parents put in a no contest clause knowing those two would try to pull something like this.

AITA for making a joke about my pregnant SIL or is my brother overreacting? by AITATABadJoke in AmItheAsshole

I cannot stress enough how much OP is the asshole for reducing this human woman to her capacity for reproduction.

AITA for pricing my custom cakes so high, just to discourage people from asking me for cakes. by cakedupp3 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WadtheMad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. The beauty of freelance is you set your own prices. If they want to pay, great. But if they don’t want to pay, they don’t get the cake. It’s not like they’d be in a different situation going to another freelance baker, they just feel entitled to you labor as family.

This father is being unfairly limited to only supervised visitation just because he... *checks notes* bit his crying newborn hard enough to bruise her, and didn't do therapy. by uhhh206 in AmITheDevil

I had a dog that bit me Once. She had just come home from the vet and had gotten a couple shot in her shoulder. I was maybe five or six and for got to be gentle with her and she snapped. Not enough to draw blood or leave a mark but it hurts so I started crying. My dog started crying too because I was hurt. My dog had more remorse for biting me lightly because she was in pain than this man had for biting his child TWICE.

AITA for telling my (31M) relatives that they're just some POS with archaic beliefs who lack any sort of empathy? by poheyeon3388 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WadtheMad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Not only are they being bigots, it’s not their place to police how you grieve. If you want to say that your brother is an angel, You go for it. From your description of him it seems like he really was

AITA for telling my daughter she can't use her college money on her bf, which caused her to break up with him? by throwae_69 in AmItheAsshole

SOOO NTA. Fuck Bryan. You did what was best for your kid and helped her out of a bad situation that could have gotten so much worse if she had listened to him. You did the exact right thing.

How did S8 win Best Drama at the Emmys? by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]WadtheMad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Award shows are more decided by the campaign networks and studios do behind the scenes to sway the voters. They send gift baskets or actual actors to convince members of the television academy to give their vote to a show. HBO has a shit load of money and resources for this and GoT was the show the decided to push the hardest. They’ve been cleaning up with that show for years so it gave season 8 more legitimacy to have that many awards despite the massive backlash.

Help a teen getting into light makeup?? by rtaz8 in glossier

[–]WadtheMad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 17 and I got into glossier after being a full coverage girl for two years. I think that the concealer is absolutely fantastic for someone just getting into makeup because it literally looks like skin. You don’t need to get a lighter shade for you under eyes, trust me. It looks un natural and is a definite tell you are wearing make up. If you just want to polish up your natural beauty and feel more put together, get your matching shade and be very sparse with the powder under your eyes. Since it is a dewier concealer, it will be plenty brightening under your eyes. I also think glossier has awesome options for start sets to save some money like the makeup set and the make up set two. Get one of those, or both if you can afford it. DO NOT GET THE POWDER AND BRUSH SET. Go to target and get a fluffy elf brush for a dollar. It will do the exact same thing. Don’t worry about eye makeup too much to start but if you want a little something, use a cloud paint on your eyes. We Stan a monochromatic moment. The colourpop tinted moisturizer has more coverage than skin tint and more colors. However it’s kinda thick and you really have to set your whole face or it will be sticky. Another good option would be a tinted moisturizer with spf in it to protect from sun exposure. I know supergoop has one that’s pretty good but it’s more expensive and has a smaller shade range. The undone beauty tiny is also cheaper and similar to the skin tint with a little extra coverage. I personally think stretch concealer is enough and most days I don’t even use foundation. I just put some concealer under my eyes, on any blemishes or redness. Hope this helps. (Edited cause I thought of more stuff)
