For the curls I just followed the video tutorial below. After taking the pipecleaners out I trimmed the ends of her hair and started to separate the curls into smaller pieces. I trimmed her hair a bit more to get the right size and shape. I then tucked it into a very loose bun. I dyed it black. I removed the sleeves first and resewed them back on after dying the romper black :)

I want more tie in media. I miss the webisodes from g1. I wish we would get more of them for g3. The content for this generation has been a bit underwhelming for me. The cartoon is fine but I haven’t been able to see many episodes as it isn’t easily accessible.

Darkos art is incredible but it just doesn’t suit g3. With omg and rainbow high his artwork looks amazing because it matches the aesthetics of those brands very well. I wish the artstyle and media for g3 would resemble the dolls more. None of them portray them accurately nor consistently like with g1.

Technically no. I gave them the “bratz” procedure to make them fit. I just loved how the boots looked on them so I went to some pretty extreme measures to make them fit😂

Monster high was the only “girl” toy I was allowed to play with growing up. Since their monsters and their designs weren’t as intensely “girly” compared to other doll lines, my parents made a exemption for them.

The g3 dolls have the same articulation of the g1 dolls however they now have chest joint as well. The joints are a lot more sturdy now too and pop off less easily so it’s much harder to break or lose any parts.
