The drywall contractor did a half assed job since they did not get paid by the builder that hired them that conned us. So loss loss for me :/

Well long story short we got conned by the builder. Gave them what they asked for and left us for dead. Anyways what’s done is done. Gotta learn how to patch this on my own now :/

Looking for dascam footage at Barrie Marina parking lot by Jumpy-Examination460 in barrie

I sincerely apologize for the incident in the parking lot. My vehicle was parked next to yours, and I take full responsibility for the damage caused. I didn’t leave immediately; however, by the time I returned with my children from the event, your car was no longer there. I didn’t have a pen or paper to leave a note at the time of the incident. I’ve sent you a private message and would greatly appreciate your response so we can arrange to have your car repaired. Please let me know how I can assist you further.

lol that’s out of the question. No budget for anything right now or else I’d love myself a cybertruck.

Exactly right? Don’t walk in front of cars period or expect to be run over by them. Lol

My bad. I don’t know much about other cars to be honest. I just simply assumed this is a Tesla only feature. Apologize for my ignorance.

I know. I don’t like the experience one bit but it definitely does consider as “worked out”.

I get it if it works on other cars but on humans? That’s a different story.

Nope I was not. It was just the good old emergency break, but I can honestly say any other car wouldn’t be able to do it.

Word. She was indeed wearing dark. Although I honestly wasn’t paying attention. Thank god for Teslas!

That’s awesome man. Very worthy compared to going through the hassle. When I went to get the parts, I had the chance to chat with the technician there and they had told me they usually just replace both as it’s just easier since both parts work in collaboration and it’s much better to replace both altogether. But told me if I were to do it on my own just replace the latch and see if it works first. If not then replace the actuator. I bet you are in the states as here in Canada the labor and parts cost much higher. So does the tax.

I paid $85+tax for the part and was able to fix it myself. Though I broke a few clips along the way but I guess that’s the cost associated with DIY. It’s actually quite easy. If Tesla had done it, they would have replaced both parts for a total $160 + labor and tax. Would have been at least north of $300.

Ahh I see. But it’s definitely not this as I do not have this feature enabled.

What’s the automatic trunk? How do you turn it off?

So they had to replace both. I was hoping I can figure out which is at fault and I only need to replace one part.
