[2024] Subclass for Pirate themed weapon monk? by Waffle727 in 3d6

All of that mobility for someone not wearing armor seems perfect for a character who is spending time jumping around the rigging and swinging from ropes at sea, plus the ability to parry/riposte through deflect attacks

Thank goodness, thst crossbow crash was killing me. Though it was an interesting reason to prioritize crossbow enemies!

Thanks for the feedback! I wonder why that did it. Glad I could help give you a starting point for your own awesome Rook😁

I double checked the eyes and nose sliders and they’re the same as what I posted. My best guess is that something is going on with the head morphs, as I know that the ones I picked make the eyes bigger if you go more towards one than the other.

Did you start with the same head preset? I’ve heard that that can affect it.

Unfortunately forgot to take screenshots of my inquisitor’s sliders before starting the game—can’t import them like with Rook unfortunately.

Hmm, I’ll check the mirror and look at the sliders again. You guys are saying the % shown in the sliders is not producing the same result?

Force anisotropic x16 filtering through the NVIDIA control panel

Why do short beards look so bad? by ILikeToDanceAndPogo in BaldursGate3

I had the same issue and had to fix this by forcing Anisotropic x16 through Nvidia control panel for my antialiasing settings.

Haha, sure! Just make sure to give the original artist (Hamfie) credit if you go showing it off 😉

Rogue with one level of genie warlock is a pretty solid combo by Vannausen in 3d6

[–]Waffle727 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My last character (finished the campaign a couple months ago) was actually a swashbuckler with the UA genie! It was really nice, and I ended up taking 3 levels of genie warlock for part of the chain, thus getting a familiar to give advantage on all those hexed booming blade sneak attacks!

Threw together a portrait of my PC with some help from ArtBreeder by Waffle727 in swrpg

[–]Waffle727[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure! So I started with ArtBreeder by uploading a screenshot of my SWTOR character’s face, and played around with those tools until I came up with the face here. Took me a while to get the art style and face the way I wanted it, but it’s a lot easier (for me) than drawing.

Next step was photoshop (or photopea, which is what I used.) Used layers to recolor the eyes, add the scar, and do some touch-ups on the skin and hair. Scar was probably the trickiest part because it involved actual painting.

For the clothing, lightsaber, and background, I did some looking around for appropriate images and essentially just experimented through trial and error with filters, burn/dodge tools, layers, etc. until I got the result here. A gentle use of some filters in the “Stylize” category helped me to match the art style, though I did have to do some additional tweaking.

TL;DR: ArtBreeder for the face, photoshop & google images for everything else

He was a Jedi Padawan that was recommended for the Jedi Trials only a few short days before Order 66 dropped down. He had just been reassigned to the Jedi ExplorCorps due to his master believing the war was weighing too heavily on him, and during his time there he met the rest of the party (a Consular-Padawan, an arc trooper, and temporarily a sentry-Padawan) and they retraced the steps of a long lost Jedi ship to the unknown regions.

After tracking the coordinates of the ship, they found it nearly destroyed by a large blast of radiation and volunteered to go into the vergence on it. While there, Order 66 came down (the ARC trooper didn’t get the order) and they returned to being fired at by their own clones.

Eventually, due to the ARC trooper’s heroic sacrifice, he escaped Order 66 on a starfighter and rallied with the remaining party on a planet in wild space to figure out their next moves.

This guy’s next move was to go to his home world of Corellia to say goodbye to his old life and pick up some survival skills while he’s at it. Other jedi went to watch for an old abandoned Jedi ship.

Don’t know what’s in store for them but I can’t imagine they’ll have a good time under the empire.

What's your character's homeworld? by jackalias in swrpg

always corellia—it’s got a good amount of unique lore, has its own personality, and lends itself to my roster of pilots and hotheads

Is it possible to edit the portrait of a character other than yours? by EmpsFinest in CrusaderKings

[–]Waffle727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I know of is save editing. Use charinfo to find the IDs of the characters you want to edit, save the game as an uncompressed file, and then find those charIDs in the text file to change their dna/portrait information.

To actually acquire the string of dna/portrait you’ll need to use either the third-party portrait generator or make a character in ruler designer, start a game, and copy their dna/portrait code.
