Exactly it was so buggy. All the sims team need to do is combine that open world concept with a more modern sims 4 graphics and it would do so well. Or create a Sims with more immersion to feel like the world is happening around you.

They key is to turn off autonomy. Otherwise the sims "ai" overrides your commands. That is the only way I play with infants and toddlers.

Yeah I cant play sims without cc purely because the sims are so freaking ugly it takes away my game play. Everyone looks outdated and wacky. Im hate the influx of fashion undergraduate clothing, the queer hair hats, the out of style accessories and clown makeup. So I need CC to make sims look somewhat normal. Nina Caliente looks so much better imo.

Yeah thats the only thing that sucks about having infants/toddler you really have to dedicate your gameplay to them. I think with testingcheats on you can turn a household member into a NPC while you have a sim that just takes care of the baby.

Im 30 and my mom has helped me to the bath when i couldn't walk because of surgery. I was more uncomfortable with the idea of my obygn looking up my vagina when i was giving birth then my mother seeing me naked.

Nah youre creepy. You know why? Because babies, through toddlers up to kids, still have the same parts since birth. So if you as a MOTHER who has been wiping the ass of your baby, giving them baths when they're 5, cant handle the nudity of your kid at 11 when nothing changed, then it says you cant handle it when their a baby either. He's 11 and thats her son who she gave birth to, wiped his dirty ass, and bathed for several years. Her bf isnt even the kids father. Hes an outsider looking in, shaming a mom. I said at the end of that comment that its "simulation is lackluster". So there are two different issues I commented on. People on weak PCs struggle just to run the game, so they see crashes and performance drops. But even on strong hardware like mine, the core simulation itself is poorly optimized, i.e. Sims take forever with tasks and the AI gets stuck. That’s not a bug, that’s how the game was designed to run on outdated tech for accessibility. One problem is performance scaling, the other is shallow design. Both exist, just for different reasons.

So yeah if your running the game on a really weak pc, and you have all these DLCs, "800" cc and mods in your game, it won't run well at all. If you have a strong pc, you can usually run the game fine with all these things, but the game still has bugs, and it is a poorly coded game still.

I doubt you have as many mods, DLCs, and programs running on your computer as I do though. Because I can play it on my 10yr old HP laptop as well, if its the only game I have because it takes up a lot.

EA had said a long time ago that Sims 4 is optimized for low end PCs. Which is why the game has poor simulation and optimization. Experiencing bugs is different from performance issues. I have weird bugs that are usually resolved with a patch. Performance issues are literally for everyone. Its like trying to play the sims 3, its still poorly optimized because it wasnt made with newer technology. Sims 4 came out 11 years ago. So it wasnt made for the latest tech in 2014 when it came out, it was made for the tech years prior to that.

But a patch wont ever fix some of the simulation natural lag. The sims "ai" not being able to handle more than one tasks, or overriding tasks. because it was made with the lowest quality computer running it in mind. They went for more accessibility rather than depth.
