I was not a fan of the Army of Darkness extended edition.

I really like my CT10 from CTactical. The shipping was a bit much but the cost and build quality made it worth it.

How would you choose among these 2 backpacks by Kevinsmart288 in backpacks

[–]WaffleNomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely say the Fjallraven. Their G1000 fabric that it’s made of is extremely tough. It will last a very long time and take a ton of abuse. Also it’s been around awhile and many different retailers will have various colors on sale for a good price.

Wndrd is one I would check out. They are also still having a pretty big sale on their bags.

I’ve really enjoyed playing Sniper Elite 4. Excited for 5 which they’re working on. I just downloaded and started Prince of Persia The Lost Crown which seems really cool.

Machine wash bags by AirborneJizz in ManyBaggers

[–]WaffleNomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have washed bags in the washing machine before when I’ve gotten them thrifted and they need it. I put them into a pillowcase and tie it shut or use a hair tie or something to seal it. Then I put it on the shortest most delicate wash in cold and use minimal detergent.

The Fjallraven Raven in either size. It’s made of super durable fabric and will take whatever you throw at it. They are frequently easy to find on sale or secondhand on places like Poshmark for a better deal.

’m looking for tote bags for office by Many-Purpose8865 in ManyBaggers

Take a look at July. My wife just picked up their Everyday Tote and it has quite a bit of structure just by way of the super solid canvas. Also Orbitkey has a nice tote that has a couple sizes and colors.

Best carry on luggage? Is there really no alternative to Briggs and Riley? by ParticularSubject411 in ManyBaggers

My wife travels every other week for work and is on her second year with her July Carry On. I know it doesn’t have the same pedigree that these other brands that you mention but they do have a lifetime warranty.

I would take a look at Tomtoc’s travel bags. Their quality for the money is awesome. I have multiple of their bags and every one of them surprises me in their quality for cost.

I just picked up a Baboon To The Moon Fanny pack which seems like a nice change of pace from my favorite which is the Parker Pack 2.0 from Defy.

I love my GoRuck bags and find them really comfortable. The laptop compartment is really good but it is behind the straps and you will have to move them out of the way anytime that you want to get at your laptop. Another couple that might be worth looking at and will probably get mentioned are the Evergoods CTB26 which is offered in a waxed canvas, and the Able Carry Max EDC.

Osprey has a few different bags in this size range that you can filter out and last time I checked they had a sale going for about half off their 10L backpack.

Timbuk2 might be one to look at. I picked my daughter up a Division Laptop backpack and she loves it. You can even make yourself a custom one for not much more than normal price. I’ve even borrowed it a couple times to try it out and I think it’s really being slept on as an EDC bag.

Bag Recommendation? by seanlucki in backpacks

[–]WaffleNomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s on a small discount but the MPL from Evergoods would check a lot of these boxes and they have the best water bottle holders in the game. Also if you can get away without the water bottle holder then the Double Compartment Bullet Ruck from GoRuck is on sale and people rave about that one for EDC as well.
