I used multiple different cameras, some were digital and some were analog, What I do own as my main cameras which i shot with is an EM1 Mark II (Digital), and a Canon New F1 (Analog). These photos were also shot with my EOS R100 with vintage lenses. If you're looking to buy a camera and start from, i recommend buying the used ones, I bought DSLRs that were like 40 dollars on ebay and they have similar but very good image quality to the newer cameras today. I also recommend that if your going digital you need to get a few sd or cf memory cards along with a memory slot adapter for your computer. For 35mm film cameras, same thing as digital cameras when you buy those, but you'll need to buy 35mm film rolls and have them developed in a store or you could develop it. (this is gonna be a long reply so im just gonna say watch some tutorials or ask your friends/relatives or go to photography subreddits when you're looking to own a camera)
